What to Expect at Minard Movement Chiropractic
Because your healing deserves clarity, comfort, and connection.
We know that starting chiropractic care, especially for the first time, can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re a busy mom juggling everything, someone navigating chronic pain, or just looking for a more holistic way to feel better, we’re here to guide you with calm, personalized, one-on-one care.
This page will walk you through exactly what to expect so you can arrive feeling confident, supported, and safe.
Before You Arrive
Scheduling is easy, you can book online, give us a call, or send a message through our social media channels. Once you’re scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation text two hours before your appointment to help you feel prepared.
We’ll also email you our New Patient Intake Forms. If you can fill them out ahead of time, great! That helps your visit flow more smoothly. If not, no worries—just arrive a few minutes early to fill them out in the office.
One thing we do recommend before your first visit? Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated helps your body respond more effectively to your first adjustment and supports your nervous system overall.
When You Walk Through the Door
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by name, because here, you’re more than just a patient. You’re part of a healing space built on trust, connection, and individualized care.
If your forms are complete, we’ll bring you back right away. Dr. Minard will begin with a one-on-one consultation to hear your story, your goals, and what brought you in. She takes the time to truly listen, because your body, your experience, and your voice matter.
After the consultation, Marti or Reagan (our amazing chiropractic assistants!) will take your blood pressure and guide you through digital X-rays so we can see what’s happening beneath the surface. From there, Dr. Minard will bring you into her office to share a few key insights and give your first nervous system-centered adjustment.
This entire visit usually takes about 30–45 minutes.
