New Patients
Your first visit, step by step.
no surprises
No surprises. No pressure. Here is exactly what to expect — start to finish.

Nothing about this should feel like a surprise.
You’ll know what’s happening before it happens, what we found before we recommend anything, and what care would look like before you commit to it.
We do not take insurance — our pricing is transparent, and we accept HSA and FSA payment. More on visits and investment.
Schedule online
Pick a time through our scheduling system. No phone tag required — though you're always welcome to call.
Consultation
You talk, Dr. Minard listens. What's going on, what you've already tried and what you want to get back to.
Exam and imaging when indicated
A thorough functional exam — with imaging only when it's clinically appropriate, never as a routine add on.
Report of findings and recommendations
We show you what we found in plain language and what we honestly recommend — then you decide what happens next.
What to bring
- — A photo ID.
- — Any recent imaging or records related to your concern.
- — Comfortable clothing you can move in.
- — Your questions. We want all of them.
Insurance & pricing
Minard Movement does not accept insurance — and that's deliberate. Insurance is built for quick, short term symptom care, not for the proactive, root cause care we provide. It also rarely covers chiropractic care for children, and we are not willing to exclude the people chiropractic can benefit most.
The good news: without insurance overhead, our costs stay down. Our prices are usually comparable to most copays. We gladly provide documentation you can file yourself for possible reimbursement, we accept HSA and FSA, and we always welcome open, honest conversations about finances.
What to expect — answered honestly.
Most people have been through the quick fix version of care already. Here is how a first visit with us is different.
